Gathering Campground is immaculate. The pads are spacious the utilities are well placed, clean, and functional. Its common space is well maintained and generous. The restrooms and showers are the BEST! The laundry is modern and well conceived. The pool and its desk area is hotel resort quality. And, most of all the Gathering Campground has great people skills! Be on the lookout for a great legacy Oak!

This has been one of the best campgrounds we’ve stayed at! My husband has been here since March, and I’ve stayed with him several times—including a full month with our dog. It has truly felt like a home away from home. Whether you’re staying for a few days, a week, or several months like we have, this campground has something for everyone. It’s quiet, clean, and exceptionally well maintained. Our long-term site is spacious, and we’ve also seen plenty of travelers come through for shorter stays and have a great experience. As dog owners, we love the multiple dog areas and the abundance of dog waste stations, which make it easy for everyone to keep the grounds clean. There are also playgrounds for kids, a nice pool, and a welcoming clubhouse with family games and books, making it a great place for families to spend time together. The clubhouse is honestly one of our favorite amenities. It has a modern, cozy vibe and is always spotless. It’s the perfect place to work remotely, relax with a cup of coffee, or curl up with a good book. We also love the outdoor patio, which has comfortable furniture and is a wonderful spot to unwind. The 24-hour gym is one of my favorite amenities, and having the clubhouse and laundry room open 24/7 is incredibly convenient. The private showers are also fantastic when we want a little more room than our RV shower. We’ve enjoyed running around the campground too—the loop is just over half a mile, making it perfect for an easy walk or run. The mail room is super convenient for receiving packages, and the twice-daily trash pickup is one of those little touches that makes a big difference. The camp store is well stocked, and Food Truck Fridays are always a fun treat when the weather cooperates. What really makes this place special, though, is the people. Gray and Thomas are the GOATs—they consistently go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Ruben from maintenance is also awesome—friendly, thoughtful, and always willing to help. This campground has such a welcoming community feel while still offering excellent amenities and plenty of space. It’s the kind of place you look forward to coming back to. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an outstanding RV campground, whether for a quick getaway, a family vacation, or an extended stay.

The campground was well kept. We enjoyed the playground, pool and club house. The staff was very friendly.

Beautiful campground, clean and well maintained with lovely grassy areas. Pool is very nice. The shower facilities are the best I’ve seen. Very welcoming staff. Easy access going in and out. Can’t say enough good things!

This was our second stay at this RV Campground. We love it here. The sites are concrete and level. They do daily trash pickup so no dealing with a nasty dumpster. Staff is friendly. The dog parks have lots of shady places to sit. Lots to do in the surrounding area – Salado, Georgetown, and more. We will be back again soon.
